Gianna
Co-Founder
Hi, I’m Gianna! I’m a recent Drexel University graduate and I’m currently working as a Proposal Writer. I’m a huge animal lover all around and went vegetarian 3 years ago (best decision ever). In my spare time, which is usually rare, I love spending time with my people, surrounded by good wine and good food! I’ve been fostering cats and kittens for the past 3 years and decided to go my own way and start my own rescue alongside my sister, Gab, in May of 2020! It has been a wild ride so far, but I feel that I am truly living out my life’s true purpose of saving animals, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have four fur babies of my own: Clementine (pictured), Rosey, Sirena, and Gemma! Clementine was a rescue from the streets of Philly who was found while I was attending college at Drexel. Rosey and Sirena were both feral nursing mom cats when I rescued them and their babies. Watching them both come out of their shells and learn to trust and love me is the reason why I do what I do. Gemma is our 6-year-old rescued puppy, who is the true foster mom here! She loves every kitten and cat that has entered our home, and she is the biggest love. My four girls are my world, and I am so grateful that my passions have come to light, as it has allowed me to save so many babies in need!

Co-Founder
Hi, I’m Gab! I work full-time for a staffing company and do all my rescue work on the side. I’m a vegetarian, lover of wine, yoga, nature, animals (obviously), and books. I’m an extroverted introvert and all about living a life full of passion. My love of animals has been apparent since I was a kid, but my true love of cats began when I adopted my own kitten, Luna. She is my little soulmate. However, my kitten rescue gene came to light when I found my other kitten, Josie, abandoned in my neighbor’s backyard. She was so full of fleas that her white fur turned bright red when I gave her her first bath. I watched every Kitten Lady YouTube video I could find and tried to learn everything I could to save this little 3.5-week old girl. I’m happy to say she’s a happy & healthy 3-year-old and the biggest brat in the world. I’m so grateful that we have been able to follow our dream of saving animals.

Abby
T-Shirt / Merchandise Designer
Abby creates and handmakes the merchandise for Foster the Furbabies! She created our latest t-shirt design and puts so much effort and love into each item that she makes. She also adopted one of our favorite kittens in the rescue, Woodstock, and is the best cat mama to him and his siblings! She runs her business and helps us with our t-shirt orders all on the side of working a full-time job. Check out her other designs and pieces through the link below:
Caroline
Website Manager & Designer
Caroline is one of our best friends and is a huge animal lover, like us! Caroline just finished her master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Unfortunately, she lives too far from us to help with fostering cats, however, she wanted to help our rescue by creating and maintaining our website! She is super talented and is seriously an angel on Earth. We’re blessed to have her as a fellow animal lover and lifelong friend!
